This committee is tasked to formulate, recommend and implement adopted policies relating to the recruitment of members and the functioning of Posts, in a manner to attract and retain members; further to develop promotional activities as necessary for the accomplishment of said activity and attainment of stated goals within each tier. They also assist the New Post and DMS Committee in revitalization of existing Posts within the District.
Individual Legionnaires and Posts are eligible for numerous awards based on meeting certain renewal and recruiting goals. The committee oversees the management of these awards and providing information to the Posts on the attainment of awards. The Department Membership Awards Toolkit has been attached to this page.
