Congratulations posts 2001, 1799, and 114 for making or exceeding 100% membership. We have several posts at 90% or better. Continue the good work and lets get 100% overall.  Should you need assistance with membership, please contact District membership chair Robert Brady (Post 247).

Good Afternoon all, We are moving downward in our membership renewals. We are doing ok at 66.88 percent, but we should be knocking out of the ballpark with renewals. Please remind your membership that now is the time to renew and not at the end of December. 

We fell three spots to 7th place overall, however we have until December 31st to get everyone renewed. 16th District Post Commanders and membership chairs must concentrate on renewals. So contact your members and encourage them to renew before the holidays.

We are still doing well membership wise, however we slipped to fourth place in the Department. Let’s help those posts that are under 55%. If you are willing to assist. Contact the District Vice Commanders and the membership chair for help.

The district continues to do well. Membership is at 61.26 percent, and our renewals are at 57.39 percent. Renewals should be higher. We need the posts to work hard on retention. Our existing members are the backbone of the organization as they keep the posts running. 

We are off to a great start in September. Many of the posts are at fifty percent or better, and once again Posts 34, 330, 1799 and 295 are 64% or better, with Culpeper leading the charge at 71.51%. Most of the posts within the district are doing well with retention, however we cannot rest […]

We continue to do well membership with the district at 58.69%. All posts should concentrate on renewals, especially at events like picnics and early bird functions. Overall the 16th District is in third place behind HQ Post 141, and the 17th District. 

The latest report shows the district membership at 57.68% overall with renewals at 54.54%. We are off to a great start, however we cannot rest on our laurels or bested by our rival the 17th District. Take advantage of your upcoming events to recruit retain and renew.

  Welcome to the start of the new membership year. We are at 48.95%, it’s a good start, but we need to get a start on our Post 141 members and promote transferring into a post. Good luck everyone! I am looking forward to seeing you at the National Convention in New Orleans Louisiana.

Congratulations to Post 295 and Post 114 for meeting or exceeding 120%. Meanwhile Posts 10, 34, 247, and 360 are so close to 100%. Vice Commanders and post membership chairs, it’s not too late to promote renew for two or three!

Just a reminder that the district convention will be held at Buck Keyes American Legion Post 28 17934 Liming Lane Triangle Virginia. The Convention will start promptly at 10am. Post Commanders or a Post representative should attend as well as committee chairs and officers of the district.    

Congratulations to the District for finishing at 102%. And the above Posts will receive the Old Dominion Blue Award for meeting or exceeding 100%.  Great Job Folks.
