Department of Virginia Distinguished Service Medal Presentation
George Lussier, Past Department Commander and member of Post 28, received the Certificate of Meritorious Service to the American Legion. The award was read by Past Department Commander Linden Dixon and presented by Department Commander Scott Maddrea. This prestigious recognition has been presented to a select few legionnaires and other distinguished individuals.
The award was given at the 16th District Spring Meeting. District Commander Patrick Fox suspended the meeting for the presentation.
