Rolling Thunder® Inc., Virginia Chapter 3 (RTVA3), based in Dumfries, Virginia is planning the largest fund raising event in their chapter’s history. They are going for the gold and they need your help.
The event will be on Saturday, 27 April 2019, at the American Legion Post 176, 6520 Amherst Ave, Springfield VA 22150 from 0900 to 1500. It is going to be a chili competition cook off (indoors) and a car & motorcycle show (outdoors).
The Rusty Hall Band, Door Prizes, 50/50 Raffle, Best in Show, People’s Choice, and several more. Spectators are always free.
They envision a vendor’s foot print will be two (2) normal parking spaces. It may shrink to no less than a 10’x 10’ pop-up foot print, if necessary. Vendors needing a larger foot print should make this clear. They will do their best to work something out. All non-profit organizations are free; and a vendor space is $25.
They envision an antique & classic car’s footprint being two (2) standard parking spaces. It may shrink a half a space at a time if the numbers start encroaching on the available spaces. Present day cars will get a standard space. All Preregistered vehicles can start parking at 0730; other cars at 0830. Any and all vehicles are $20.
Their ability to provide electricity is slim to none. Bring your quiet generators and fuel.
