Lovettsville Post 1836 will be hosting a Veterans Day event on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 11 AM. The event will be held at the Lovettsville Veterans Memorial (aka Squirkle). For further information contact the Post Commander Lizzie Fontaine or Lovettsville Mayor Nate Fontaine.
Middleburg Post 295 is sponsoring “Rally ’round the Flag” 5k run to raise funds for our Vets Helping Vets program. The run will be held at The Hill School, South Madison Street, Middleburg. Sign up on site at 7:30. Race starts at 8:00. Entrance fee is $30.00 and includes an event tee shirt and breakfast. Gold, Silver & Bronze medals will be awarded in several age categories as well as a breakfast will be served afterwards at the Legion Hall, 111 The Plains Road, Middleburg.

Warrenton Post 72 will be leading a wreath laying at Hospital Hill in Warrenton. Traditionally, the Legion and VFW Posts do a joint ceremony at the Veterans Memorial on Hospital Hill in Warrenton. Due to COVID, we have scaled back to have just the commanders, a couple local officials do the traditional wreath laying.
Manassas Post 10 will be having their annual Veteran’s Prime Rib dinner. on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at 5 PM EST – 7 PM EST. Cost is $17.00 per person. The Manassas Post 10 Auxiliary will pay for the Veteran. Hats off to the Manassas Post 10 Auxiliary for their fine support of our Veterans.
Manassas Post 10 will be having their Annual Post 10 Veterans Day Ceremony to be held on 11/11/2020 at 11:00 am at The Robert V McMaugh Memorial American Legion Post 10, 9950 Cockrell Road, Manassas, Virginia. The Mayor of Manassas will be presenting a proclamation from the City of Manassas for Veterans Day.
Culpeper Post 330 will be hosting a special 2020 Veterans Day Ride For Recognition. The event is being held on November 11, 2020 starting and ending at Culpeper Post 330. The event will last from 10 AM to approximately noon. Culpeper residents are asked to come out on the route and cheer the parade on as they drive by. Any Veteran and Veteran supporter is welcome to join in the convoy, no pre-registration is required, just show up at Post 330 at 10 AM.
