We are in weeks away from the Department Fall Conference and we are doing well membership wise, but we can do better! Post commanders, membership chairs and adjutants please make an effort to drive home renewals before the holidays. The 75% membership goal is drawing near (1 November)!

Post commanders, adjutants and membership chairs: Now is the time to make an early effort to get to 75% before the Department Convention. We have posts at 60% or better however let's make a concerted effort to get our members to renew. With the holidays less than weeks away our members will be concerned about saving money. 

The district is only a few percent short of making the membership Goal for this month. We have a few posts under 50% that need help. Everyone, please reach out to their members and get them to renew.   Welcome to the start of the new membership year. We are at 48.95%, it's a good start, but we need to get a start on our Post 141 members and promote transferring into a post. Good luck everyone! I am looking forward to seeing you at the National Convention in New Orleans Louisiana.

Congratulations to Post 295 and Post 114 for meeting or exceeding 120%. Meanwhile Posts 10, 34, 247, and 360 are so close to 100%. Vice Commanders and post membership chairs, it's not too late to promote renew for two or three!

It's crunch time folks and several posts have failed to send their consolidated post report. Keep in mind the CPR is a vital part of the American Legion as it reports its efforts to the US Congress. The information in the CPR (VA&R, Children and Youth, Americanism and Internal Affairs are critical to the success of the organization from the post to the national headquarters.
