The 16th District Annual Planning Conference scheduled for Sunday, August 23, 2020 must be delayed one week due to unforeseen circumstanced. The Conference will now be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Post 10 starting at 2:00 PM. The event should last for 2 hours.

There are a few important notes for Veterans related to COVID-19 (Corona Virus).
The Internal Revenue Service today issued a special alert for Supplemental Security Income and Department of Veterans Affairs beneficiaries to act by May 5 if they didn’t file a tax return in 2018 or 2019 and have dependents so they can quickly receive the full amount of their Economic Impact Payment.

VA Closes Nursing Homes To Visitors
If your Post has visitations scheduled for VA Nursing Homes you may want to verify the activity will still be allowed. The VA has announced that until further notice, all VA nursing homes will adopt a "No Visitor" stance, meaning no outside visitors will be permitted to see residents.
