Just a quick reminder that this Saturday, 3 October, is the John D Sudduth American Legion Post 72's Legion Riders Chapter sponsored Poker Run. Rain date is Sunday 4 October. All profits are dedicated to support area Veteran assistance programs. Registration is from 0900 - 1000hrs with the first bike out at 1000hrs. We are fast approaching The Nation's Gun Show being held October 2-4, 2020. This event is held at the Dulles Expo Center, 4320 Chantilly Shopping Center, Chantilly, VA 20153. Past events have resulted in members being signed up for just about every Post in the 16th District in addition to signing up new members for several other states. The 16th District Annual Planning Conference scheduled for Sunday, August 23, 2020 must be delayed one week due to unforeseen circumstanced. The Conference will now be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Post 10 starting at 2:00 PM.  The event should last for 2 hours. The District Commander apologizes for this last minute change, but unfortunately the change is necessary.
